Take a trip back in time on the Classic Course at Otsego Club in Gaylord

GAYLORD, Mich. -- The Otsego Club boasts two 18-hole golf courses, the Classic and the Tribute. The Classic Course is the club's original layout, dating back to the 1950s. It has a classic country club layout that that golf traditionalists will enjoy.

The parkland layout sprawls across grassy meadows and gentle hills that overlook the scenic Sturgeon River Valley. The course provides a player-friendly contrast to the many long and demanding courses in the Gaylord area. Beginners will enjoy the wide, forgiving fairways but there are still plenty of challenges for more advanced players. The greens are fast and often framed by bunkers. Golfers won't come across much water but it does make an appearance on one hole.

The course finishes with its signature hole, a par 4 that is known for its stunning panoramic view that stretches beyond 20 miles.
