Reflections Course at Garland Lodge and Resort in Lewiston is a shotmaker's paradise
LEWISTON, Mich. -- The Reflections Course is one of four championship courses at Garland Resort and Lodge.
The course is known for being a shotmaker's paradise. The layout is characterized by the great amount of variety in the hole design, which means it appeals to a variety of different tastes and skill levels.
It begins with wildly rolling fairways and elevation changes, but the course flattens out toward the back nine. The middle of the course features mostly flat fairways and the occasional water hazards coming into play. The course features the most extreme landscape of the four courses at Garland Resort and Lodge.
To make the golf course even more challenging, a number of strategically placed bunkers come into play along the fairways and greens. It is wise to play the many doglegs on the course to the wide side of the fairway in order to avoid an approach that is blocked by trees.
