Best kept secret.
One of the best kept secrets in northern lower Michigan, this nine hole course is well maintained and a lot of fun to play. With only 9 holes I was surprised at the amount of people who play here. talking to other patrons it seems most golfers come back year after year while on vacation in the area. Charming environment hidden among the tree’s. They do not allow children under 8 so leave the kids behind and enjoy a tranquil time playing this 100 year old course.
Hidden Gem
Only 9-holes but a hidden gem in Northern Michigan! Well maintained and tucked away near Mullett Lake.
A good mix of elevation changes, out of bounds (7 of 9 holes), and hazards provides a challenge for accomplished golfers, while the course length (3300 from the tips) makes it playable for others.
Great little gem
I played this course because of the price offered on golfnow.com and couldn't have been more pleased. The course was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely play this course again.
It was only a nine hole course but I liked going back around to try and improve my score on each hole.
